Biography
Dr. Debasis Chaudhuri presently working as a Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Techno India University, West Bengal. Before that He was the senior scientist and Deputy General Manager at DRDO Integration Centre, Panagarh, West Bengal in the Rank of Joint Secretory, Ministry of Defense, Govt. of India. He was Project scientist at Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. He was involved in ISI-ADRIN Project, Dept. of Space, Govt. of India in the year of 1994 to June 1996. He worked as professor at Defense Institute of Advance Technology (Deemed University) Pune forInformation Classification: Generalone and half years during 2001–July 2004. He was visiting Professor at University of Nebraska, USA during Aug 2003–2004. He worked at Integrated Test Range (ITR), Chandipur for one year during January 2005—December 2005. He was the senior scientist and DGM at DRDO Integration Centre, Panagarh from July 2014 to 31st October 2021.
Dr. Jan-Harm Pretorius obtained his BSc Hons (Electrotechnics) (1980), MIng (1982) and DIng (1997) degrees in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the Rand Afrikaans University and an MSc (Laser Engineering and Pulse Power) at the University of St Andrews in Scotland (1989), the latter cum laude. He is a trained Baldrige (USA) and South African Excellence Foundation (SAEF) assessor. He worked at the South African Atomic Energy Corporation (AEC) as a Senior Consulting Engineer for 15 years. He also worked as the Technology Manager at the Satellite Applications Centre (SAC) of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). He is currently a Professor and Head of School: Postgraduate School of Engineering Management in the Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment. He has co-authored over 240 research papers and supervised 50 PhD and over 260 Master’s students. He is a registered professional engineer, professional Measurement and Verification (M&V) practitioner, senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (IEEE), fellow of the South African Institute of Electrical Engineers (SAIEE) and a fellow of the South African Academy of Engineering.
Dr. Debashis Das is currently working as an Associate Professor and Head of the Department in the department of Computer Science & Engineering at Techno India University, West Bengal. He did his PhD from IIT(ISM) Dhanbad in 2017. His research interest is in Image Processing, Biometric Security and Steganography. He is associated with a project on Vision based Surveillance funded by DRDO, Govt. of India. He also served as a reviewer for a number of peer reviewed journals and conferences. He is the life member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and member of IEEE.
Mr. Sauvik Bal currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Techno India University, West Bengal. Prior to that he worked in Haldia Institute of Technology, West Bengal and University of Engineering & Management, Jaipur. He received his Master degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology), in 2015. In both the UG and PG levels, he has Eight years of teaching and research experience. His research interest is in Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Deep Learning. He is a professional Member of ACM, Life Member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), Member of Computer Science Teachers Association, and International Association of Engineers. He attached with various international conferences.
