Biography

Dr. Sathiyaraj Rajendran is an assistant professor in the School of Engineering &

Technology at the CMR University, Bangalore. He completed his PhD at Anna University,

Chennai. His research interests lie in the area of Big Data Analytics, AI, and IoT. He has

collaborated actively with researchers in several other disciplines of computer science,

particularly traffic prediction systems and intelligent systems. He has authored more

than 25 publications and filed 5 patents.

 

Dr. Munish Sabharwal is professor and dean, School of Computing Science & Engineering,

Galgotias University, Greater Noida (UP), India. He is also an adjunct professor, Faculty

of Applied Mathematics and IT-Samarkand State University, Samarkand, Uzbekistan.

He earned a PhD (Computer Science S) and PhD (Management) and also has a PGDM

(International Trade) from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune; an

M.Tech (Computer Science) from IASE University, Sardarshahr; and a B.E. (Computer

Technology) from Nagpur University, Nagpur. He is also MCSD and MCP Certified.

He has contributed over 21 years to teaching (CS and MIS), education management in

leadership roles, research, as well as software development. He has more than ten years

of research experience, has published more than 55+ research papers in conferences and

journals indexed in SCI, ESCI, Scopus, etc. He is a board member as well as reviewer for

a number of leading indexed research journals and has three books to his credit. He is

guiding seven PhD Scholars and his current research interests include Data Sciences (AI

& ML), Biometrics and E-Banking.

 

Dr. Gheorghita Ghinea is a professor of computing, Department of Computer Science

Brunel University London. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University

of Reading, United Kingdom. His research activities lie at the confluence of Computer

Science, Media and Psychology and he is particularly interested in building semantically

underpinned human-centred e-systems, particularly integrating human perceptual

requirements. Currently, he is supervising a team of six PhD students. He has supervised

a total of 23 PhD students to completion (as first supervisor), who have gone on to enjoy

rewarding careers in academia or industry. He has published more than 30 articles and

received 10+ research grants.

 

Dr. Rajesh Kumar Dhanaraj is an associate professor in the School of Computing Science

and Engineering at Galgotias University, Greater Noida, India. He earned a PhD in

Information and Communication Engineering from the Anna University Chennai,

India. He has contributed 20+ books on various technologies and 35+ articles and

papers in various refereed journals and international conferences and contributed

chapters to the books. His research interests include Machine Learning, Cyber-Physical

Systems and Wireless Sensor Networks. He is an Expert Advisory Panel Member of

Texas Instruments Inc., USA.

Dr. Balamurugan Balusamy earned a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) Vellore, Tamil Nadu. He also completed an ME in

Computer Science and Engineering and a BE in Computer Science and Engineering from

Anna University and Bharathidasan University respectively. Previously he was associated

with Galgotias University, Delhi NCR, in multiple capacities, holding roles such as

Director of International Affairs, Professor, and Associate Dean of Research, School of

Computing Science and Engineering. He served up to the position of associate professor

during his 12-year stint with VIT (Vellore) from 2005 to 2017. During this period, he

spearheaded and coordinated many student club activities and technical and cultural

fests for VIT. Currently, he is appointed to the advisory committee for several technology

start-ups and forums.

Dr. Balusamy promotes student engagement in co-curricular and research activities and

is keen to provide them an ecosystem for redefining their career goals. He designs and

implements activities for developing and overseeing programs that enable students

to realize their social and personal potential and integrate student life experiences at

Shiv Nadar University, Delhi NCR. In his current role at the University, he acts as a

liaison between the Office of Dean Academics and the Office of Students. He mentors

students with the twin aims of fulfilling their ambitions and helping them realize their

full potential.
