Biography

Ahron Bregman is a faculty member at the Department of War Studies, King’s College London. He served as a captain in the Israeli army during the 1982 invasion of Lebanon and later worked as a parliamentary assistant at the Knesset. Bregman is the author of The Fifty Years War (1998), the companion book to a six-part BBC / PBS television documentary; Elusive Peace (2005), the companion to a three-part BBC / PBS television documentary; A History of Israel (2003); Cursed Victory (2014); and The Spy Who Fell to Earth (2016).
