Biography

Prof. Abbas Rajabifard is an internationally recognized leader and scholar and a proud geospatial engineer and urban land and property management expert. He is Director of Centre for Spatial Data Infrastructure and Land Administration (CSDILA) and Leader of Geomatics Discipline in the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at the University of Melbourne.  Prof Rajabifard is also a member of the United Nations International Advisory Committee for Global Geospatial Knowledge and Innovation Centre (UN-GGKIC) and is a member of the UN-Academic Network for Global Geospatial Information Management (UN-GGIM). He has collaborated with many countries across the world, particularly in Asia-Pacific, Middel East, Europe, North America and Latin America regions. Prof Rajabifard has over 400 publications, including 14 books.

 Dr. Behnam Atazadeh is a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Spatial Data Infrastructures and Land Administration (CSDILA) at the University of Melbourne. Serving as a research team leader in land administration, he specializes in various technical aspects, including modeling, validating, integrating, visualizing, querying, and analyzing land and geospatial data. He has contributed to the research and development projects on modernization of land administration systems in different jurisdictions including Australia, Indonesia and Malaysia.
