Biography

S. Vinodh is a Professor in the Department of Production Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India. He was a gold medalist in his undergraduate study and has published over 200 research papers in international journals out of which more than 20 of them are concerned with Industry 4.0. Dr. Vinodh has seventeen years of teaching and research experience in Industrial Engineering/Manufacturing. He has completed three Sponsored Research Projects, and twelve scholars were awarded Ph.D. degrees under his guidance. He co-authored “Lean Six Sigma for Small and Medium Enterprises: A Practical Guide” (9781482260083) and authored two additional books, “Sustainable Manufacturing: Concepts, Tools, Methods and Case Studies” (9780367278687) and “Lean Manufacturing: Fundamentals, Tools, and Approaches with Industry 4.0 Integration” (9781032040455) all published by CRC Press. His research interests include Sustainable manufacturing, Lean manufacturing, Agile manufacturing, Additive manufacturing, and Industry 4.0/5.0.
