Biography

Juliane House is Ordinary Member of Academia Europaea. She received her PhD in Applied Linguistics from the University of Toronto, Canada, and Honorary Doctorates from the Universities of Jyväskylä, Finland, and Jaume I, Castellón, Spain. She is Professor Emerita at Hamburg University, Germany; Research Professor at the ELTE Research Centre for Linguistics, Hungary; and Distinguished University Professor at Hellenic American University, USA and Greece.

Dániel Z. Kádár, MAE, DLitt, DSc, FHEA, PhD, is Ordinary Member of Academia Europaea. He is Chair Professor and International Director of the Centre for International Cooperation and Disciplinary Innovation at Dalian University of Foreign Languages, China, and Changjiang Young Scholar, appointed by the Chinese Ministry of Education. He is also Research Professor at the ELTE Research Centre for Linguistics, Hungary, and Professor of Linguistics at the University of Maribor, Slovenia.
