Biography

Dolly Kumari is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry in Faculty of Chemical Sciences, Institute of Natural Sciences and Humanities, Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University, Lucknow-Deva Road, Barabanki, U.P., India since 2022. She earned her Ph.D. in Chemistry from Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Dayalbagh, Agra, India. With a strong background in Chemistry, her research spans Renewable Energy Generation, Pretreatment of Lignocellulosic Biomass, Agricultural Waste Management, Liquid and Gaseous Biofuel production, Bioremediation and Wastewater Treatment. Dr. Kumari’s primary focus is on understanding pretreatment of lignocellulosic biomass using harmless chemicals or substances for biofuel production, reflected in over 20 publications in esteemed national and international journals having a cumulative impact factor of 59.5 with more than 1100 citations and filed one patent on pretreatment method. She has also started work on green nanomaterial synthesis for catalytic applications. She has supervised the projects of postgraduate students. She also plays vital roles in academic and non-academic activities at Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University.

Ravi Kant Bhatia is a distinguished Indian scientist and academician renowned for his significant contributions to environmental biotechnology, bioenergy, and microbial enzyme technology. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at Himachal Pradesh University (HPU), Shimla. Dr. Bhatia has established himself as a leading figure in sustainable bioresource management and microbial innovation. He possesses extensive experience in both academia and industry and is actively engaged in teaching and cutting-edge research. In recognition of his scientific contributions, he has been listed among the World’s Top 2% Scientists in 2025 in the field of Biotechnology. Dr. Bhatia has qualified prestigious national examinations including UGC-NET, ICAR-NET, and GATE, and was awarded the UGC Postdoctoral Fellowship (UGC-PDF) to pursue his postdoctoral research. He has also received the SERB International Travel Support (ITS) fellowship to present his research findings at an international conference in Scotland. He has authored over 100+ research publications with a cumulative impact factor exceeding 200 and has received more than 5,200+ citations. His research interests include microbial enzyme technology, biofuels, nano-biotechnology, environmental microbiology, and waste valorization. Dr. Bhatia has successfully led and contributed to several research projects funded by national agencies, securing grants worth approximately ₹15 crore. He has completed 6 projects as Co-Principal Investigator and 4 as Principal Investigator. He has also represented India at various international conferences. His collaborations extend globally, working with renowned scientists and institutions worldwide. In addition, he serves as a reviewer for several prestigious national and international journals and has edited more than 10 books with reputed publishers. Beyond research, Dr. Bhatia is deeply committed to mentoring students and promoting innovation through incubation and entrepreneurial initiatives. His interdisciplinary approach, integrating fundamental research with practical applications, continues to drive advancements in environmental biotechnology and sustainable development. Dr. Ravi Kant Bhatia’s dedication and impactful contributions have significantly advanced the field and continue to inspire the next generation of scientists in India and beyond.
