Biography
Dr. Anshuman Tripathi
joined NTU in November-2012 and leads the Electromobility and Grid connectivity areas of RD&D in the Energy Research Institute at NTU (ERI@N). Before joining ERI@N he has spent close to 10 years in the industry. From July-2004 to August-2007 at GE, he formed electrical machine design competence in GE-global research delivering machine□converter solutions to GE transportation and GE healthcare systems. He also worked on wireless power transfer solutions for GE healthcare and GE-NBC. He then joined Vestas wind power systems in September-2007 where he was instrumental in creating a 2 MW and 3 MW converter design group comprising of hardware, software and control groups. This group delivered solutions for V-90, V-112 and V-164 turbine platforms of Vestas. Anshuman has research interests in grid connection of large and remote wind and solar farms, grid codes and compliance, power hardware in the loop simulations for power network designs, electrical drive train designs and hybrid Energy storage for stationary and mobile applications. He has 35 patents in the areas of power systems, control, electrical machines and 22 IEEE publications.
Dr. Shilpi Birla
is working as an Associate Professor in Electronics & Communication Department at Manipal University Jaipur. With an extensive career that spans over 18 years, she blends academic prowess with industrial expertise, a combination that enriches her teaching and research. She did her Ph D in Low Power VLSI Design. Her expertise is not only limited to low power applications but also extends to Memory Circuits, Digital VLSI Circuits, Nanodevices, and Image Processing. She has authored more than 60 research papers in journals of repute and international conferences. Additionally, she has played a pivotal role in nurturing future generations of engineers and researchers through summer internships focused on practical applications like Diode Fabrication and through Faculty Development Programs aimed at enhancing teaching methodologies and research skills. She has worked as a session chair, convener of conferences, steering committee member, editorial board member, and reviewer in international/national IEEE Journal and conferences. She has guided M. Tech Students and guiding Ph.D. students. She is a senior member of IEEE.
Dr. Mamta Soni
has completed PhD (March 2022) in the field of “Consumer Social Responsibility”, Department of Commerce, Faculty of Management & Commerce, Manipal University Jaipur. She has completed B. Com. and M. Com. from Kurukshetra University, Haryana in 2002 and 2004 respectively. She completed her M.B.A with Dual specialization (Finance & Marketing) from Banasthali University, Jaipur in 2009. In addition, she has also done B. Ed. in 2013 from Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa, Haryana. In the year 2019, she has successfully qualified UGC - NET in Management Category. She is having total teaching experience of 7 years with good academic exposure in different organizations. She has published 3 research papers in repute International Journals which includes publication in Q2 and Q4 journals. In addition, she has published 2 Scopus indexed conferences and 1 book chapter as an outcome of research work. Her research interests broadly include Consumer Social Responsibility, Sustainable Development, Green Consumption and Social Responsibility.
Dr. Jagrati Sahariya
Assistant Professor – I, Department of Physics, National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand is working in the field of γ-ray scattering and band structure calculations since last 10 years. She has received her Ph.D. degree in 2012 in the field of electronic structure calculation and Compton scattering. She has studied electronic and magnetic properties of a variety of technological important materials. Dr. Sahariya has sufficient expertise in using different band structure methods like full potential linearized augmented plane wave, linear combinations of atomic orbitals and spin polarized relativistic Korringa-Kohn-Rostoker to compute electronic structure, optical and magnetic properties and Compton profiles of variety of materials. She has published more than 70 papers in peer reviewed international journals of high impact factor and repute conferences both at national and international level. She has also executed a research project funded by SERB under Fast Track Scheme.
Dr. Monica Sharma
is Head of Department and Associate Professor in the Department of Management Studies, she is also serving as Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department at Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur. She is the Treasurer and Coordinator of MNIT Innovation and Incubation Centre. She has graduated from Government Engineering College Kota and holds Ph.D degree from prestigious Birla Institute of Technology Pilani where she was a faculty member till 2012. She joined Malaviya National Institute of Technology in 2012 and is offering her expertise in both in Department of Mechanical Engineering and Department of Management studies. Her areas of research are Manufacturing Excellence, Supply Chain Management, TQM, Knowledge Management, Ergonomics, Lean Management and Sustainable Manufacturing. She has guided seven PhD till date and four are ongoing. She has published 36 articles in reputed peer reviewed international journals like The TQM Magazine, The TQM Journal, Production Planning and Control, International Journal of Intercultural Information Management, International Journal of Management and Research, IMR□Management Speak (A bi-annual Journal), Journal of Productivity and Performance Management, Journal of Cleaner Production, International Journal of Occupational Safety and Ergonomics (JOSE), International Journal of Health Care Quality Assurance, International Journal of Lean Six Sigma and 64 articles in esteemed peer reviewed conferences like CIRP, Advances in production management etc. Apart from this she has also published six book chapters with leading publishers like Springer, Taylor & Francis and Elsevier.
