Biography

Jaytilak Biswas received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India, and PhD from the Industrial Management Department of the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. He worked for about threeand-a-half decades in senior executive positions of various public sector enterprises and the Government of India. He has published several papers in specialised national and international journals of repute. He is a guest faculty member of many leading management institutions and a member of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India. His areas of academic interest are Management Information Systems, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management and Project Management. He has successfully conducted management development programmes for senior managers of private and public sector enterprises.
