Biography

Dr Gowri Dorairajan is Professor and Head of a unit at JIPMER, Puducherry, an autonomous National Importance Institution. She is an acclaimed teacher and clinician. She has more than 24 years of teaching experience. In addition, she has vast clinical experience and has worked in many government hospitals with high turnover and deliveries. She did her postgraduation from Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi, from 1992 to 1995 and vast exposure to various obstetric emergencies and the management of women in labour. She is working as a professor in JIPMER since June 2013.
