Biography

Bidyut Chakrabarty, a former professor of Political Science at the University of Delhi (1998–2018), retired as a vice chancellor of Visva-Bharati, a university founded by the Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore. Besides these appointments, he also taught at many universities across the world as a visiting professor. An expert on nationalist thought, Professor Chakrabarty has also contributed to the field of political science in general.
