It provides a comprehensive and clear account of marine natural resources issues such as fisheries, mining, offshore oil and gas, renewable energy and biogenetic resources. The clear explanations and basic principles that underpin the text make it readily accessible to non-economists coming from diverse programs of study." -- Domenico da Empoli, University of Rome
