Biography

Ram Krishna is an academic and researcher in the field of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, with a strong focus on sustainable manufacturing and advanced materials processing. He is currently associated with the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur, India.

His research interests include material selection for sustainability, additive manufacturing processes, product design optimisation, life cycle assessment, and the application of digital technologies such as Industry 4.0, IoT, and data- driven tools in manufacturing systems. He has contributed to research in areas related to sustainable materials, energy- efficient manufacturing, and circular economy practices, with an emphasis on practical industrial relevance.

Krishna has been actively involved in academic teaching, research supervision, and industry- linked projects. His work aims to bridge the gap between theoretical sustainability concepts and their real- world implementation in manufacturing industries.
