Biography

Suresh Babu Naidu Krishna is a research scientist and academic leader with over 17 years of experience in nanobiotechnology, antimicrobial resistance, and applied microbiology. He currently serves as an Honorary Research Fellow at Durban University of Technology, South Africa, and has established himself as a prominent voice in interdisciplinary health sciences research and academic publishing. Dr. Krishna has authored more than 78 peer‑reviewed articles, 20 book chapters, and one book, with an h‑index of 27. His contributions include pioneering work on medicinal plant nanoformulations to enhance bioavailability and therapeutic efficacy, which has positioned him at the forefront of translational nanomedicine. He has secured and managed international research funding, notably as Co‑Principal Investigator on the SA‑UK Newton Fund Antibiotic Accelerator Initiative and has delivered keynote and invited lectures at international conferences. As an editor, Dr. Krishna brings extensive experience in academic publishing, author coordination, and peer review, having conducted more than 50 verified reviews for leading journals. His commitment to mentorship, diversity, and sustainable research solutions has been recognised through awards such as Faculty Researcher of the Year (2022), Highest Cited Author (2024), and THUSO Mentorship Recognition (2025). Through his editorial leadership, Dr. Krishna continues to advance science diplomacy, international collaboration, and SDG‑aligned research impact, ensuring that scholarly outputs meet global standards while addressing pressing societal challenges.

Sershen Naidoo is an interdisciplinary research scientist working across the Natural and Social Sciences on projects focused on integrated environmental management, sustainability science, climate change, higher education, research commercialisation and entrepreneurship. He has served as an Associate Professor of Plant Physiology, Executive Director of the Institute of Natural Resources NPC, Grants, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for the Technological Higher Education Network South Africa, and Research Manager for the Climate Mobility Community Action Network. He is an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of the Western Cape; an Adjunct Member of the Graduate Faculty at the Water School, Florida Gulf Coast University; and a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Natural Resources NPC. He works at the research-innovation-education interface and is currently a training expert at the Florida Department of Health and a Project Manager for EU-funded projects focused on University-Industry cooperation in Entrepreneurship Education. Narasimha Golla is working as a Professor and Dean (R&D) at Sri Venkateswara University in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India.  He has 25 years of teaching and 27 years of Research experience.  He is working on bioactive phytochemicals, bioactive compounds, and nanoparticles, their characterization, and their multi-diverse applications in science and technology. He has published more than 160 research papers, book chapters, and conference proceedings of international repute. He has participated in several national and international conferences and delivered invited lectures. He served as Principal Investigator for Major Research projects sponsored by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Department of Science and Technology (DST), University Grants Commission, and Board of Nuclear Sciences (BRNS), and was one of the coordinators for the Center of Excellence in Bioenergy and Innovation (SVU-RUSA). He serves as an editor, editorial board member, and advisory board member for a number of National and international peer-reviewed journals. He received various national and international awards, such as Highly Cited Researcher, BRAVe Faculty, Global Achievement Award, Teacher of Excellence, Research Excellence, and Senior Scientist (Gold Medal) Awards.
