Biography

Captain Pengfei Zhang has had a career within the maritime industry for more than 20 years, previously working as a master mariner, a maritime lawyer qualified in England and Wales and China, and senior executive for a major shipping group. He is a qualified solicitor and a Member of The Law Society (UK), the Chinese Bar Association and the Chinese Maritime Law Association. He has a PhD in international maritime studies and has published four books and more than 80 journal articles.

Xiankai Zhan graduated from Dalian Maritime University in 2005 and qualified as a 2nd Officer in 2007. He is a Member of the Chinese Maritime Law Association.
