Biography
Dongzhou Huang, Ph. D., P.E., is President and Chief Engineer of American Bridge Engineering Consultants and has been a professor and visiting professor for more than 20 years. He has been engaged in bridge engineering for over 40 years and has published numerous technical papers and books on topics such as bridge design, dynamic and stability analysis, practical analysis methods, capacity evaluations of box girder, curved girder, cable-stayed, truss, and arch bridges. Dr. Huang was a part of several multi-national bridge design firms and contributed extensively to the design, analysis, and construction of many long span and complex bridges, including curved steel plate and box girder bridges, steel truss bridges, arch bridges, cable-supported bridges, and segmental bridges. He currently serves as a member of the AASHTO/AISC/NSBA Technical Committee as well as the Transportation Research Board Concrete Bridge Standing Committee at the National Academies. Dr. Huang previously held the role of editor/board member at the IABSE Structural Engineering International Journal, and associate editor at the ASCE Journal of Bridge Engineering.
Yicheng Huang, P.E., is Vice President and Director of Engineering at American Bridge Engineering Consultants, graduated from Stanford University, and has decades of experience in Structural and Software Engineering. He has led structural design efforts on multiple public infrastructure projects and has also developed several large-scale software applications for bridge analysis and design.
