    Biography

    Rahul Sindhwani received his Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering & Management in 2017, M.Tech. degree in Mechanical Engineering with distinction and Gold Medal in 2010, B.Tech. degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2008, from Kurukshetra University, India. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department, Amity University, Uttar Pradesh, India. He is an active lifetime member of the Indian Society of Technical Education and a fellow member of Institution of Engineering and Technology. He is having teaching, research, and administrative experience of more than10 years. He has contributed more than 25 research papers/ book chapters in the area of industrial engineering and management in various national/ international journals of repute. His area of expertise is industrial engineering and management, supply chain management, lean, green and agile manufacturing system along with analysis of problems using various optimization techniques.

    Punj Lata Singh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering (CE), Amity School of Engineering and Technology (ASET), Amity University Uttar Pradesh (AUUP), Noida, India. She earned her M.Tech. in Fluid Engineering from MNNIT, Allahabad, India in 2010 and B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from UPTU, Lucknow, India in 2006. She has teaching, research and administrative experience of more than10 years. She is an active life-time member of Indian Society of Technical Education. As an academician, she introduced her career and then entwined with pursuing as a researcher and instructor in the fields of engineering and technology. She has been actively associated with organizing and attending several National and International Conferences and published many research papers in the area of thermal engineering, industrial engineering and management in various international journals of repute with her area of interest is Fluids Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management. She has worked in the field of implementation, analysis and optimization of problems using multi-criteria decision modelling techniques and various experimentation in thermal area.

    Bhawna Kumar is a distinguished academician, researcher, trainer & management consultant with a brilliant track record throughout her education & career. The gold medalist of her batch of BE from Delhi University she was also awarded the gold medal in her MBA Programme. She has specialized in Instrumentation & Control Engineering and Management and has a work experience of over 26 years covering areas of strategic management, project execution, project management, ICT, consultancy, research, teaching and training. She is presently a senior Professor of Strategy and a Vice President of Amity Education Group who is closely associated with the strategic initiatives in the areas of Training, Consulting & Internationalization of all its Institutions. An ardent researcher, she has been actively involved in organizing several National and International Conferences and has published many research Papers in the area of IT & Management. Prof. Kumar has also been instrumental in furthering the vision of Internationalization of Amity and has contributed to the launch of the many Global Campuses of Amity including London, Singapore, Mauritius, Uzbekistan, New York and San Francisco besides nurturing the International Business School, Amity Greater Noida Campus, Study Abroad, 3 Continent and International Programs.     Varinder Kumar Mittal is a Manufacturing Engineer at Dutch Industries Ltd. Pilot Butte SK Canada. He has worked as faculty in the department of mechanical engineering at various engineering institutes in India for about 16 years. He is a graduate in the discipline of mechanical engineering from Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar, INDIA in 1999, post-graduate in mechanical engineering with specialization in production engineering from Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar, INDIA in 2004 and PhD in green manufacturing from BITS Pilani, INDIA in 2014. His teaching and research interests are primarily in the field of manufacturing engineering and management along with analysis of problems using structural equation modelling, statistical analysis, interpretive structural modelling, and multi-criteria decision modelling, etc. He has worked in the manufacturing industry for more than 5 years now.

    J. Paulo Davim received his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1997, M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering (materials and manufacturing processes) in 1991, Mechanical Engineering degree (5 years) in 1986, from the University of Porto (FEUP), the Aggregate title (Full Habilitation) from the University of Coimbra in 2005 and the D.Sc. from London Metropolitan University in 2013. He is Senior Chartered Engineer by the Portuguese Institution of Engineers with an MBA and Specialist title in Engineering and Industrial Management. He is also Eur Ing by FEANI-Brussels and Fellow (FIET) by IET-London. Currently, he is Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Aveiro, Portugal. He has more than 30 years of teaching and research experience in Manufacturing, Materials, Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, with special emphasis in Machining & Tribology. He has also interest in Management, Engineering Education and Higher Education for Sustainability. He has guided large numbers of postdoc, Ph.D. and master’s students as well as has coordinated and participated in several financed research projects. He has received several scientific awards. He has worked as evaluator of projects for ERC-European Research Council and other international research agencies as well as examiner of Ph.D. thesis for many universities in different countries. He is the Editor in Chief of several international journals, Guest Editor of journals, books Editor, book Series Editor and Scientific Advisory for many international journals and conferences. Presently, he is an Editorial Board member of 30 international journals and acts as reviewer for more than 100 prestigious Web of Science journals. In addition, he has also published as editor (and co-editor) more than 125 books and as author (and co-author) more than 10 books, 80 book chapters and 400 articles in journals and conferences (more than 250 articles in journals indexed in Web of Science core collection/h-index 54+/9000+ citations, SCOPUS/h-index 58+/11000+ citations, Google Scholar/h-index 75+/18500+).
