Biography

Vasyl Tomashyk is a leading researcher at the V.E. Lashkaryov Institute of Semiconductor Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. He obtained a master's degree in chemistry from Chernivtsi State University in 1972 (master of chemistry). He completed his doctorate in chemical sciences (1992) and is a professor (1999) and author of about 700 publications in scientific journals and conference proceedings and 13 books (eight of them were published by CRC Press), which are devoted to the physical-chemical analysis, the chemistry of semiconductors, and chemical treatment of semiconductor surfaces.
