Biography
Yanto Browning is a lecturer in Music in the Creative Industries, Education, and Social Justice Faculty at the Queensland University of Technology. Yanto’s research interests include equity in education, music cities paradigmatic research, music production methodologies, and interactive media technologies. Yanto has published in journals such as Cultural Trends, Cities, and the International Journal of Inclusive Education. Yanto is an active musician and music producer, with over 20 years in the music industry as a record producer and studio engineer. His music production work has resulted in several ARIA-nominated releases and multiple Australian Gold- and Platinum-certified records.
