Biography
Susmita Halder is an accomplished academician, researcher, and clinical psychologist with more than 20 years of experience in teaching and consultancy. She is currently Professor in Psychology and serves as Dean of faculty of Arts and Social studies at St. Xavier's University, Kolkata. She has keen interest in studying human behaviour and connecting it with daily life and brain functioning and applying modern psychotherapies to improve one's mental health and wellness. She had been Research Fellow at the prestigious Centre for the Study of Developing Societies, New Delhi. She has worked with leading academic institutions and super specialty hospitals in India. She gainfully uses her experiences into her work and writings. She has authored the books, “Navigating AI in Mental health care: Innovation, Ethics and Future trends”, “Healthy Brain: Way to Healthy life".
Akash Mahato is Professor of Clinical Psychology and Head of the Institute at Amity Institute of Behavioral Health and Allied Sciences, Amity University Kolkata. Having done his M. Phil and PhD in Clinical Psychology from Ranchi Institute of Neuro Psychiatry and Allied Sciences, Ranchi, Dr Mahato has experience of over 20 years in industry and academia. He has contributed to teaching as well as administrative position as Principal at Sweekaar Academy of Rehabilitation Sciences, Secunderabad. He has also contributed as faculty and Clinical Psychologist in Postgraduate teaching departments in medical colleges and Universities in the past, including LGB Regional Institute of Mental Health, Assam (Govt. of India), Amity University Jaipur and Gandaki Medical College, Nepal.
