Biography

Banu Nergis is a Professor in the Textile Engineering Department at Istanbul Technical University (ITU). She acquired her BSc, MSc and PhD degrees in Textile Engineering from ITU. Her research areas include spinning, technical textiles, denim production, and sustainability.

 

Cevza Candan received her BSc and MSc degrees in Textile Engineering from Istanbul Technical University (ITU) and her PhD degree from the Department of Textile Industries at the University of Leeds, UK. She serves as a full-time faculty member in the Textile Engineering Department at ITU and the coordinator of the ITU-FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology, NY) Dual Degree Fashion Design Program.
