Biography

Gourab Paul is an Assistant Professor at Amity University, Mohali, with over a decade of research experience in cell and molecular biology. He completed his Ph.D. in Life Sciences from ICGEB, New Delhi, focusing on novel molecular complexes involved in malaria pathogenesis. His research expertise spans protein expression and purification, genetic engineering, Plasmodium biology, and bioinformatics, complemented by postdoctoral training at Weill Cornell Medicine, New York. Dr. Paul has contributed significantly to the understanding of host-parasite interactions, has multiple peer-reviewed publications, and continues to mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students while advancing research in infectious diseases and bioinformatics.

Mohammed Tarique is an experienced molecular biologist whose research spans parasitology, infectious diseases, nanomedicine, and drug discovery. He completed his postdoctoral research at Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, supported by the Dr. D.S. Kothari Postdoctoral Fellowship, and received earlier training at the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB), where he worked extensively on malaria biology and molecular parasitology. Dr. Tarique has published widely in international peer-reviewed journals, authored several academic books with Springer Nature and CRC Press, and holds multiple patents related to diagnostic and therapeutic technologies. His work combines molecular insights with translational research aimed at developing new tools for disease diagnosis and management. Alongside his research activities, he serves on the editorial boards of several scientific journals, contributing actively to peer review and academic publishing.
