Biography

Ribu Mathew is a Doctorate degree in Electronics Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) University. A Gold Medallist in his Post Graduation, Dr. Mathew completed his M.Tech in VLSI Design and B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering. In his Doctoral research work, he has contributed in the field of design, modelling and fabrication of NEMS technology piezoresistive readout based nano cantilever sensors for chemical and biological sensing applications. In addition to the computational knowledge in industrial standard NEMS device, he has gained experience in NEMS/IC layout tools, and clean room fabrication technologies from CeNSE, IISc Bangalore. His publications are in reputed journals like Nano-micro letters Springer, Journal of Micro mechanics and Micro engineering (JMM) IOP, Journal of physics D: Applied Physics IOP, Measurement Elsevier, etc. He has also presented several papers in reputed international conferences. He is a senior member of IEEE (SMIEEE). His research area includes design, modelling and fabrication of MEMS/NEMS technology-based sensor and actuator systems, Quantum Computing, IC packaging, analog/RF IC design, SoC design, and device modelling. Currently, he is an Associate Professor in the Manipal School of Information Sciences (MSIS), Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE).

Ankur Beohar (IEEE Senior Member) and Branch Counselor (IEEE student Branch-VIT Bhopal) who has done, undergraduate from RGPV University Bhopal, Post-graduate from MANIT Bhopal, Doctor of Philosophy (Nanoscale Devices and VLSI Design) from IIT Indore and Post Doctorate in Device modeling and simulation from IISER Bhopal. He has a long research and academic work experience of more than 16 Yrs., where initial 10+Yrs with various reputed government research organizations including Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore, Indian Institute of Science and Engineering Research (IISER) Bhopal, and National Institute of Technology (NIT) Bhopal. And the last 6+Yrs. experience as a Senior Assistant Professor at VIT Bhopal University. Under administrative post, He is working as a Program Chair of M. Tech (VLSI Design) and Chief investigator (CI) of C2S (Chip to startup) Project, MeiTy, New Delhi, Govt. of India. He has a renowned research experience in the field of Low power VLSI circuit design, where we observe a significant contribution. His research related with new generation of innovative device such as optimisation of Tunnel field effect transistor (TFET), where he has completed 3 sponsored research project from govt agency such as , “Investigation of Analog/RF and Digital Performance of  Tunnel Field Effect Transistor (TFET) for Ultra Low Power Applications,”  and  ,”Evaluation of Stability and Performance analysis of reliable TFET based 6T SRAM cell,” awarded by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi, Government of India under Scientist Pool Scheme  in a remarkable time span of 5 Yrs and another research project under Teachers Associatship Research excellence (TARE) scheme awarded by Science and research Board (SERB), New Delhi, Govt of India. As of now, he has published more than 80 research publications in various Peer reviewed international conferences and SCI journals. Along with this he reviewed more than 100+ Journal/conferences article.

Trapti Sharma received her Doctoral degree from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal with specialization in VLSI and Embedded systems. Prior to that she completed Post-graduation (M.E) in embedded systems from Birla Institute of Science and Technology, Pilani and Graduation in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Presently, she is working as Senior Assistant Professor in School of Computing Science & Engineering (SCSE) at VIT Bhopal University. Dr. Sharma has teaching and research experience of more than 10 years and working in IoT and VLSI domain focussing on low power digital system design and circuit techniques for emerging technologies. She has several publications in reputed peer reviewed SCI journals like IEEE Transactions on Nanotechnology, Computers & Electrical Engineering, AEU-International Journal of Electronics and Communications, Microelectronics Journal, Microprocessors and Microsystems, IET Circuits, Devices & Systems, etc. She has presented several papers in various Scopus indexed international conferences and published 2 Patents. She has also been a reviewer in peer-reviewed Journals such as IEEE Embedded system letters, IEEE transaction on nanotechnology, Optical and Quantum Electronics, ECS Journal of solid-state science and technology.  Her research interests include VLSI design, Interconnect issues in Processor design, multi-valued logic design, computer arithmetic and circuit design based on nanotechnology.

Abhishek K. Upadhyay obtained a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Indore, M.P., India, in 2019. After getting his PhD, he worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Model Group, Material to System Integration Laboratory (IMS Lab), University of Bordeaux, France for one year. From Feb. 2020 to Dec. 2021, he worked as a Staff Scientist at the Chair for Electron Devices and Integrated Circuits, Technische Universität Dresden, Germany. Then from January 2022 to September 2024, he worked as an R&D engineer at X-FAB GmbH Dresden. Currently, he is working as a Principal Engineer at Globalfoundaries Bengaluru. He is actively involved in compact and TCAD modeling, parameter extraction, measurement, characterization, and high-sigma simulation of volatile and non-volatile memory devices.

Kavita Khare received her B.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering in 1989, M.Tech. degree in Digital Communication Systems in 1993 and Ph.D. degree in the field of VLSI Design in 2004. She has got nearly 33 years teaching experience. She has 200 publications in various international conferences and journals. She has guided nearly 20 PhD thesis and nearly 44 MTech thesis. She got best paper award at International Conference at France. She is a coordinator of Short-term Courses on VLSI Design organized at MANIT Bhopal. She is a reviewer of papers of many national and international journals. She is the editor/ Chief Advisory Board Member of some International Journals. Currently, she is working as Professor Dept of Electronics and Communication Engineering in MANIT, Bhopal, INDIA. Her fields of interest are VLSI design and Communication Systems. Her research mainly includes design of arithmetic circuits and various communication algorithms related to synchronization, estimation and routing. She is a Fellow IETE (India) and Senior member IEEE, Life Member ISTE.
