Biography
Meena Hariharan is the Founder Director of the Centre for Health Psychology. After working in University of Hyderabad for 31 years she superannuated in August 2023. She has about 100 articles published in peer reviewed journals, and seven books. Her research work in the field of Health Psychology covers Behavioural Cardiology, ICU Trauma, Coping with Non-Communicable Diseases and Resilience Studies. She has produced ten Ph.Ds.
Meera Padhy completed her Ph.D from Centre for Advanced Studies in Psychology, Utkal University. She is presently working as Professor in Centre for Psychology, University of Hyderabad. Her research areas cover Occupational Health, Behavioural Diabetology, and Social Support. She has published more than 50 articles in peer reviewed journals including in Encyclopedia, Psychology, and three books. She has produced three Ph.Ds in the past ten years.
Usha Chivukula has done her Ph.D from the Centre for Health Psychology, and is working as Assistant Professor in the same Centre. Before joining University of Hyderabad she worked as Assistant Professor in St.Francis Degree College, Hyderabad. Her research publications are in the area of Behavioural Cardiology, ICU Trauma, and Social Support. She has published two books and about 50 articles in peer reviewed journals.
