Biography
David Bargal, PhD, is Senior Lecturer at the Paul Baerwald School of Social Work at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He is the author of Social Work in Industry (in Hebrew) and the editor of Kurt Lewin's Resolving Social Conflicts (also in Hebrew). Dr. Bargal has published articles and book Chapter s on the management of human resources in service organizations, occupational social work, and conflict management workshops. He is currently completing a book on conflict management workshops for Arab and Jewish youth.
Hillel Schmid, PhD, is Senior Lecturer at the Paul Baerwald School of Social Work at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His main areas of interest and research are the adaptation of human service oganizations to changing environments, the strategy and structure of organizations, processes of management, organizational analysis of home care service providers, and the integration of organizational theories and policy-making in the social services. Dr. Schmid has published articles and book Chapter s on the management of human services.
