The Series publishes interdisciplinary scientific papers on landscape evolution and on former environments of the African continent, e.g. changes in climate and in vegetation cover interconnected to all kinds of environmental dynamics form the Cainozoic up to the present, including since the Late Quaternary the growing infuence of humans in many of the areas studied.
