Biography
Felix P. Lesnov is Doctor of Geology and Mineralogy, Leading Research Fellow of the Sobolev Institute of Geology and Mineralogy, Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and Member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. He specializes in research on mafic–ultramafic complexes of folded areas (geology, petrology, petrochemistry, geochemistry, mineralogy, isotope geochronology, and chromite and Pt contents). The main study areas are the Chukchi region, Kamchatka region, Sakhalin Island, Primorye, northern Baikal region, eastern Transbaikalia, East and West Sayan, Tuva, Urals, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Mongolia, and Brazil. Felix Lesnov has (co-)authored more than 300 works, including more than ten monographs.
