Biography

Kelly M. Pyrek is an award-winning journalist who has served as editor of regional and national newspapers and magazines for more than 30 years. She holds established professional relationships with prominent members of the forensic science, legal and healthcare communities.  A graduate of the University of Southern California, she currently works in healthcare trade journal publishing. She is the author of three other books: Forensic Nursing (CRC Press, 2006), Forensic Science Under Siege (Elsevier, 2007) and Healthcare Crime: Investigating Abuse, Fraud, and Homicide by Caregivers (CRC Press, 2011).
