Biography

Adrian Scribano is Director of the Centre for Sociological Research and Studies (CIES) and Principal Researcher at the National Scientific and Technological Research Council, Argentina. He is also Director of the Latin American Journal of Studies on Bodies, Emotions and Society and the Bodies, Emotions, and Society Program Studies in the Gino Germani Research Institute, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Buenos Aires (UBA). He was a former coordinator of the 26 Working Group on Bodies and Emotions of the Latin American Association of Sociology (ALAS) and also serves now as President of the Working Group 08 "Society and Emotions" of the International Sociological Association (ISA).
