Biography

Mariantonia Lo Prete is Assistant Professor in Coastal Planning and Port Geography at Dunkirk University (University of the Littoral Opal Coast - ULCO), France, and member of the research unit Territories, Cities, Environment and Society (ULR 4477 TVES).

César Ducruet is Geographer and Senior Researcher at the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), France. He is currently working at the EconomiX laboratory (Paris-Nanterre) on the local impact of contemporary maritime globalization.
