Biography

Thakur Gurjeet Singh, PhD, is Dean at the Chitkara College of Pharmacy at Chitkara University, India, where he also serves as Director of Quality Management System at the Herbal and Ayush Product Testing and Standardization Lab. Dr. Singh has been named for the last three years as one of the world’s top 2% of scientists, an honor bestowed by Stanford University. With over 17 years of academic and industrial experience, he is a prolific researcher and author. He has mentored more than 22 PhD scholars and over 108 postgraduate research candidates. Under his leadership, the Chitkara College of Pharmacy established the Indian Pharmaceutical Association–Students’ Forum’s Punjab State Chapter. He also is a faculty advisor at ISPOR–The Professional Society for Health Economics and Outcomes Research Student Chapter at the Chitkara College of Pharmacy. He is also an editorial board member and editor of the Journal of Pharmaceutical Technology, Research and Management.

Sanjana Mehta, PhD, is an Assistant Professor and Head of Department at the Chitkara College of Pharmacy at Chitkara University, India. She coordinates the Institutional Innovation Cell where she fosters a vibrant ecosystem for student-led innovation, start-up incubation, and interdisciplinary research. In her roles as Education Officer of the ISPOR–The Professional Society for Health Economics and Outcomes Research Student Chapter, Faculty Coordinator for the Indian Pharmaceutical Association–Students’ Forum’s Punjab State Chapter, and Faculty Adviser at the Society of Clinical Research and Medical Professionals Students’ Forum’s Punjab State Chapter (Pharmacy Wing), Dr. Mehta empowers students to engage with global trends in pharmacoeconomics, public health policy, and community pharmacy practice.
