Biography
Valeria Appel holds a BA (Hons) in Communication Studies and an MA in Cultural & Creative Industries. A seasoned TV production manager, she’s worked on renowned productions such as Galapagos 3D with David Attenborough, Lost Cities with Albert Lin, Extreme Railways with Chris Tarrant, and Searching for Mexico with Eva Longoria. She’s written and directed short films, authored The Theatre of the Oppressed for Beginners, How to Answer the Questions You Don’t Want to Answer, and Key Concepts in Media Analysis, and is a recognised specialist in Current Affairs, Factual Documentary, Wildlife, Extreme Travel and Adventure/Survival.
