Biography

Lucian Staicu was born on September 22, 1981 in Bucharest (Romania). Between 2004 and 2008, he studied Biology (MSc) at the University of Bucharest and developed an interest in Biotechnology. In 2010, after studying Chemistry and Environmental Science at the MSc level in Bucharest and Paris, he started his PhD research described in this thesis at UNESCO-IHE (The Netherlands) and University Paris Est (France). His main research interests are Microbiology and Electrochemistry.
