Biography

Michael A. Pizzi is a scholar, practitioner, and researcher whose work advocates promoting health, wellness and quality of life through occupation. He received the Award for Excellence in the Advancement of Occupational Therapy. Michael A. Pizzi was guest editor for AJOT special issues on HIV/AIDS, childhood obesity, and health, well-being, and quality of life, and he created the Pizzi Health and Wellness Assessment. Michael A. Pizzi is co-editor of Preparing Your Doctoral Capstone and two other textbooks.
