Biography

Elisa D’Alterio is Full Professor of Administrative Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Catania, Italy. She is Director of the Observatory on Public Administration and Public Finance (FinPA). Former Visiting Researcher and Professor around Europe (SciencesPo, European Public Law Organization, etc.), she is Member of the Steering Committee of the Institute for Research on Public Administration (IRPA). She has held various institutional roles, including that of Legal Counsel to the Italian Minister of Public Administration, Member of the Italian Better Regulation Unit, and President of Public Services Agency in Rome. She has authored approximately 200 publications on public, administrative and financial law.
