Biography

Katarzyna Chruzik is professor and Head of the Department of Transport and Informatics at WSB University, as well as a member of the Council for Scientific Excellence in the Engineering and Technical Sciences team. She specialises in safety and risk management in transport and has over 25 years of academic and professional experience. She is the author of over 150 publications and has led numerous national and international projects on transport safety, system integration and low-emission mobility.

Marzena Graboń-Chałupczak is lecturer and researcher at WSB University, specialising in railway safety and risk management. She holds degrees in both railway transport and mathematics, and has completed PhD studies in technical sciences. Her professional work focuses on the development and implementation of safety and maintenance management systems for railway operators. She has co-authored numerous publications and has been involved in a wide range of research and consultancy projects, including safety assessments for new rolling stock. Her expertise combines technical knowledge with practical solutions in the field of rail transport safety.
