Biography
C. Guedes Soares is a Distinguished Professor of the Engineering School (Instituto Superior Técnico) of the University of Lisbon and Scientific Coordinator of the Centre for Marine Technology and Ocean Engineering (CENTEC). He concluded his postgraduate studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA, in 1976, and at the Norwegian Institute of Technology of the University of Trondheim, in 1984 and has since then been at the University of Lisbon (Technical University of Lisbon until 2013).
Shan Wang is an Associate Professor at the Engineering School (Instituto Superior Técnico) of the University of Lisbon and the Coordinator of the Dynamics and Hydrodynamics Group at the Centre for Marine Technology and Ocean Engineering (CENTEC). She received her Ph.D. degree from the University of Lisbon in 2016 and has been with the university since then. She has published more than 130 indexed journal and conference papers and has an h-index of 24, with more than 1,876 citations in the Web of Science. She is the Work Package Leader of the ESOMOOR project and has participated in several national and European research projects, including ARCWIND and NATURSEA_PV.
