Biography

S. K. Kulshrestha is an internationally renowned urban and regional planner with more than five decades of experience in teaching, research and professional practice. He has been the Head of the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria; Senior Consultant, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), Germany; Partner Satish Jeevan and Associates, New Delhi.  Visiting Professor, School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi; and Founder Editor, Spatio-economic Development Record, New Delhi. He is currently engaged in writing on spatial planning issues and has published four books.
