Biography

Ewan Anderson is Emeritus Professor at the University of Durham and Honorary Professor in the Social Work and Development Unit, University of York, where he works on residential and boarding education and care. He holds doctorates in geography, politics and residential education and has published fourteen books. He is a former president of the International Federation of Educative Communities (England and Wales branch) and a member of four national standards committees.
