Biography

Francis D. Cogliano is a Professor of American History at the University of Edinburgh. He is the author of Emperor of Liberty: Thomas Jefferson’s Foreign Policy and Washington, Jefferson and the American Revolution. He edits "The Revolutionary Age" series at the University of Virginia Press.
