Biography

Simon Butt is Professor of Indonesian Law at the University of Sydney Law School and the Director of the Centre for Asian and Pacific Law. His many publications include Indonesian Law and Judicial Dysfunction in Indonesia.

Tim Lindsey is the Director of the Centre for Indonesian Law, Islam and Society at the University of Melbourne, where he is Redmond Barry Distinguished Professor and Malcolm Smith Professor of Asian Law. He is a founder and Executive Editor of The Australian Journal of Asian Law, and the Indonesia at Melbourne news blog. His more than 100 publications include Indonesian Law and Indonesia: Law and Society.
