Biography
Anthony Turner, PhD, ASCC, CSCS*D is Professor of Strength and Conditioning and Postgraduate Research Lead at the London Sport Institute, Middlesex University, UK. He serves as an Associate Editor for the Strength and Conditioning Journal. Anthony has edited five textbooks and authored The Fitness Formula. He has been a sport science consultant and S&C coach to numerous sports teams, and Olympic and Paralympic athletes, and was formerly Head of Physical Preparation for GBR Fencing during the Rio Olympic Games cycle. Anthony consults in human performance for the British Military and works as a Physical Performance Coach with Tottenham Hotspur Women’s Academy. He is a UKSCA Coach of the Year recipient (Education and Research).
Chris Bishop, PhD, ASCC is an Associate Professor of Strength and Conditioning and the current Head of Department at the London Sport Institute, Middlesex University, UK. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Professional Strength and Conditioning, a Senior Editor for the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research, and an Associate Editor for the Strength and Conditioning Journal. In addition, Chris serves on the Medical and Scientific Advisory Committee for the European Tour Group in the sport of Golf and is the Principal Investigator for Golf Human Performance Research, for Sports.
