Biography
After 30 years of industry experience—including a decade working for a Japanese company—Ken Snyder joined the faculty of the Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University in 2008. This marked the beginning of his involvement with the Shingo Institute, where he has served as Executive Director and Chairman of the Institute’s Executive Advisory Board since 2015.
Andrew Dillon was Shigeo Shingo's principal interpreter and translator from the early 1980s until Dr. Shingo's death in 1990. He subsequently worked on the shop floor with other key management improvement pioneers from Japan and, together with Productivity Press, produced classic English-language versions of works on the Toyota Production System and related topics. Andrew remains active as a teacher in the revolution that continues to move outward from Dr. Shingo’s work.
