Biography
S N Kumar is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Amal Jyothi College of Engineering. He holds a PhD in Electronics Engineering from Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, where his research focused on the development of novel medical image processing segmentation and compression algorithms for telemedicine applications. Dr Kumar has a Master’s degree in Applied Electronics and is highly distinguished in his academic achievements, having received top marks and first-class honors throughout his education. With a rich academic career, he has contributed significantly to the field of medical image processing, including segmentation and compression techniques for CT/MRI images. Dr Kumar has also been actively involved in funded projects, including a Co-Principal Investigator role for a DST-sanctioned project. Additionally, he has published numerous high-impact research papers and holds several patents in areas like green energy harvesting, machine learning, and IoT applications in healthcare. His work continues to shape innovations in telemedicine and AI-based medical image analysis.
Sherin Zafar holds a PhD in Computer Science from MRIU Faridabad, specializing in secure protocols for MANET and blockchain applications. She also earned her MTech in Computer Engineering and BE in Computers. Dr Zafar has a significant research profile with over 125 citations on Google Scholar and an h-index of 7. She has actively supervised PhD students and contributed to several research projects, including a DST-funded project. Additionally, Dr Zafar is a joint supervisor for several PhD students working on topics such as trust-based optimized routing approaches for MANET and blockchain integration. As an Assistant Professor at Jamia Hamdard, she has a strong academic and research background, actively participating in conferences, reviewing papers for multiple journals, and being a member of professional bodies such as CSI and IACSIT. Her work includes multiple published patents, demonstrating her contributions to the field of secure communication protocols and innovative routing solutions.
Arun S is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering at Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, Kottayam, Kerala, with 19 years of academic experience. He earned his BE degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University in 2003, followed by an ME degree in Power Electronics and Drives from Anna University in 2005. He completed his PhD in Power Electronics from APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University in 2023. Dr Arun also holds an advanced certificate in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning from the IBM Innovation Centre for Education. His research interests are centered around power converters, solar PV systems, embedded systems, and SoPC design. He has contributed to various peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, and conference proceedings. In addition, he has conducted peer reviews for several journal papers, further demonstrating his involvement in the academic and research community.
Sameena Naaz is a distinguished academic with over 22 years of experience in teaching, research, and administration. She earned her PhD in Computer Science from Jamia Hamdard University, focusing on fuzzy-based algorithms for load balancing in distributed environments. In addition to her academic achievements, Dr Naaz has a robust publication record, contributing to well-regarded journals and conferences in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, medical image processing, and telemedicine. She is also involved in several innovative projects related to IoT and AI applications in health and education. Currently, she is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Roehampton, London, and has served as a professor at Jamia Hamdard. Dr Naaz holds multiple patents in the areas of robotics, IoT, and health metrics, underlining her role as an innovator in her field. Her passion for mentoring students and contributing to administrative responsibilities further strengthens her profile in academia.
Mirza Mohd. Sufyan Beg is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in the field of Computer Engineering. He holds a PhD in Computer Technology from IIT Delhi and has completed postdoctoral research at UC Berkeley. Currently serving as the Principal of Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), he has held several leadership roles, including Chair of the Computer Engineering Department. With a career spanning over two decades, he has written numerous publications and contributed to various conferences, specializing in such areas as web search quality, fuzzy logic, machine learning, and data mining. He has also been involved in advanced research in cloud computing, IoT, and electric vehicles.
Eduard Babulak is a is a globally recognized scholar, researcher, consultant, and professional engineer with over 30 years of international experience. A polyglot fluent in 16 languages, he has served in esteemed academic, editorial, and leadership roles across renowned institutions such as MIT, University of Cambridge, Tokyo, Oxford, and Purdue. Prof. Babulak is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (UK), a Chartered IT Fellow and Elite Group Member of the British Computer Society, a Senior Member of IEEE and ACM, and an expert advisor for the European Commission and the US National Science Foundation. He holds advanced degrees from institutions in the UK, Czech Republic, and Slovakia, and has contributed significantly to engineering, computer science, and global educational initiatives.
