    Biography

    Dr. Pankaj Sharma completed his B.Pharm and M.Pharm from RGPV University Bhopal in 2010 and 2012, respectively. He earned a PhD in the year 2020. He has a total experience of 11 years in teaching and research. Presently, he is working as a Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutics, ShriRam College of Pharmacy, Banmore, Morena. His research interests include development of transdermal preparations, nanoemulsions, tablets, and other carrier mediated systems for effective delivery of drugs. He is actively involved in formulating nanocarrier for effective delivery of drugs for treatment of Malaria, Arthritis, etc.

    Dr. Sharma has received many awards; a few that stand out are the Young Scientist Award from the Indian Pharmaceutical Education Society, the Fellowship from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, as well as several prizes for the best conference papers presented. Dr. Sharma is a graduate of the Indian Pharmacy Graduate Association and Jiwaji University in Gwalior, India. Dr. Pankaj Sharma spoke as a representative or an invited speaker at several conferences, seminars, symposiums, and workshops on his research and teaching experiences. He participates actively in a number of university, department, and institute committees. Prof. Sharma has guided 20 M.Pharm students under his supervision. In national and international publications, he has produced 26 peer-reviewed papers in the field of pharmaceutical sciences, along with 10 book chapters. Also, he reviews articles for a number of international scientific publications. He belongs to numerous Indian scientific organisations as a member or life member.

    Dr. Wasim Akram passed his BPharm with distinction from Jiwaji University, and MPharm from Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (A central University) in 2012 and 2014, respectively. He earned a PhD in the year 2022. He has a total experience of 08 years in teaching, research and pharmaceutical industry. Presently, he is working as a Assistant Professor at the Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Amity University, Madhya Pradesh, Gwalior. His research interests include improving oral bioavailability of BCS class II and Class IV drugs using approaches like complexation, polymeric conjugates, lipid based systems like microemulsions, nanoemulsions, solid lipid nanoparticles and other carrier mediated nanoparticulate systems. He is actively involved in formulating nanoparticulate drug delivery systems for treatment of Inflammatory bowel disorders and cancer.

    Dr. Akram has been bestowed with several honors; a few of them worth mentioning include the Young Talent Award by Indian Pharmaceutical Education Society; Young Researcher Award by ; Arjyopa during World congress on Drug Development; Awarded JRF & SRF By Universuty Grant Commission (UGC), New Delhi; in addition, several awards for best paper presentations at conferences; Indian Pharmacy Graduate Association, and Controlled Release Society, Indian Chapter. Dr. Akram shared his research and teaching experience in several conferences, seminars, symposiums and workshops as a representer or invited speaker. He is also actively engaged in various committees of the department, Institute and University. He has published 15 peer-reviewed papers in the field of pharmaceutical sciences in national and international journals, four  book chapters and four co-authored books. He is also active as a reviewer for several international scientific journals. He is a member/Life member of several Indian scientific organizations.

    Dr. Vinay Jain is a highly accomplished academic and administrative professional, currently serving as the Principal of ShriRam College of Pharmacy. He holds an M. Pharm and Ph.D. in Pharmacognosy, and has amassed 20 years of experience in teaching and administration. He has made significant contributions to the field through his research and publications, including peer-reviewed articles, edited and indexed books, and guidance for over 32 research scholars. Dr. Jain completed his M. Pharm in Pharmacognosy from Barkatullah University in 2007 and began his professional career as Assistant Professor at ShriRam College of Pharmacy, Banmore. In 2017, he successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis entitled “Phytochemical and Pharmacological investigation of Arisaema leschenaultii from Berhampur University, Odisha. In addition to his academic pursuits, Dr. Jain has been an active member of the pharmacy community, serving as Co-convener of the Indo-Caribbean conference and Organizing Secretary of the national conference on “The Future Prospect in Pharma-Marketing”. He is also a lifetime member of the Indian Society of Pharmacognosy, and has been recognized for his leadership and mentorship in the field. Dr. Jain has been a strong advocate for the holistic development of society and individuals, and has been actively involved in Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives such as health checkup camps, cloth donation drives, and social awareness drives. He has also filed 2 patents and published 50+ papers in international and national journals.

    In recognition of his excellence, Dr. Jain has received various awards and honors, including the Dhanvantari Awarded during SRIJAN 2021, and has been granted an allowance of INR 2.5 lac for conducting an international conference by AICTE and a grant of INR 8.5 lac by AICTE under MODROB Scheme for laboratory upgradation. He has also been invited as a guest of honor at several conferences and workshops held in MP. His recent achievements include Best Principal award in 2022 by INSC publishers and Pharma Rising Star Award in 2022, which he received at New Delhi

    Dr. Mukul Tailang completed his B.Pharm. (1987), M.Pharm. (1989) and Ph.D. (1997) from Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dr.H.S.Gour University, Sagar (M.P.) a prestigious institute in the profession of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

    Prof. Tailang has a vast experience of 33 years of teaching and research in the field of Pharmacy in India and abroad. Specialized in “Pharmacognosy & Phytochemistry” and “Plant Biotechnology”, Prof. Tailang has guided 15 Ph.D. students under his supervision and published more than 100 research papers in the Journals of International and National repute and also has three Patents to his credit. Prof. Tailang has also published a book ‘Phytochemistry – Theory & Practical’ and contributed chapters in ‘Text Book of Medicinal Chemistry’ and ‘Drug Carriers’.

    Prof. Tailang has been awarded Prof. M.L. Khorana Award by Indian Pharmaceutical Association in the year 2002 and ILLUSTRIOUS ALUMINUS AWARD – 2016 by Dr. H. S. Gour University, Sagar (M.P.) He has been awarded SRF from Council of Scientific & Industrial Research New Delhi in 1993.

    He is reviewer of many International and National Journals and is a life member of various societies including Indian Society of Pharmacognosy (ISP), Association of Pharmaceuticals Teachers of India (APTI) etc. He has presented various Research papers in different National & International Conferences and delivered lectures in different Conferences, Faculty Development Programs, National workshops etc.

    Presently he is working as Professor & Dean, Faculty of Technology, Jiwaji University, Gwalior (M.P.)
