Biography
Dr. Faisal Talib is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Zakir Husain College of Engineering & Technology, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh, (U.P.), India. He holds a Ph.D. degree from IIT Roorkee and Masters in Industrial Engineering from AMU. He has over 26 years of teaching and research experience and has more than 115 publications to his credit in national/international journals and conferences, including 45 papers in SCI/SCIE/Scopus journals and published 08 Book Chapters. He has successfully guided 04 PhDs, and 03 are in progress. His work has been published and cited in various peer-reviewed refereed journals, including Journal of Cleaner Production, Environmental Science and Pollution Research, Sustainability, International Journal of Sustainable Engineering, Total Quality Management & Business Excellence, International Journal of Health Planning and Management, International Journal of Quality & Reliability Management, International Journal of Sustainable Engineering, International Journal of Service Business, Benchmarking: An International Journal, International Journal of Productivity & Quality Management, and International Journal of Mobile Communications to name a few. His special interest includes Quality 4.0, Total Quality Management (TQM), Sustainable Practices, Operations Management, Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) Techniques, and Quantitative research. Additionally, he is a member of various advisory boards/editorial boards of International Journals and serves as an expert reviewer in the review panel of several International Journals of repute, including the International Journal of E-Entrepreneurship and Innovation, International Journal of Productivity Management and Assessment Technologies, International Journal of Information Systems in the Service Sector, International Journal of Business Intelligence Research, and International Journal of Service Science, Management, Engineering, and Technology. He is also a member of notable professional bodies, some of which includes Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), The Institution of Engineers (IEI), International Association of Engineers (IAENG), and International Engineering and Technology Institute (IETI). To conclude, he has more than 4200 citations (h-index= 30, i-10-index= 59) to his credit indexed by Google Scholar.
Dr. Muhammed Muaz is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Zakir Husain College of Engineering & Technology, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh, (U.P.), India. His research areas include metal cutting operations, friction stir welding, manufacturing automation, adaptive control of manufacturing processes, robotics, and automation, cutting fluids, minimum quantity lubrication, FEM of machining, powder metallurgy, materials characterization, and optimization of manufacturing processes. He has published several research articles, including journal papers, conference papers, and book chapters. He has filed two patents on his own innovations. One of his patents is GRANTED, and one is published. He is a reviewer of many refereed Q1 journals. He is a Guest Editor of Special Issue "Sustainable Developments & Innovations in Manufacturing" [Sustainability] (IF: 3.889, ISSN: 2071-1050). He is teaching UG and PG courses. In addition to these courses, he is assigned the teaching load in various labs including the Manufacturing Technology lab, Hardware lab, Computer Programming Lab, Kinematics and stress analysis lab, Engineering Graphics Lab. He was placed at 1st Position in B. Tech and at 2nd Position in M. Tech. He has completed his Ph.D. from IIT Kanpur.
