Biography

Daniel Frings is Professor of Social Psychology at London South Bank University, where he is also Associate Dean of Research and Innovation in the College of Health and Life Sciences. He has taught social psychology at undergraduate and MSc levels and supervised numerous PhDs. His research interests include social identity, mental health, addiction psychology and digital health. He has received research funding from prestigious funders such as the National Institute Health Research, Economic Social Research Council, the Medical Research Council, the British Academy and Cancer Research UK. Daniel is also a former Associate Editor of the Journal of Applied Social Psychology and a practising psychotherapist.
