    Biography

    Shahidur Rahman is Professor of Sociology in the Department of Economics and Social Sciences at BRAC University, Bangladesh. His research interests include political economy of development, industrial relations, gender and labor with a particular focus on the Bangladesh garment industry. He is the author of three books and his most recent book, The Bangladesh Garment Industry and the Global Supply Chain: Choices and Constraints of Management was published by Routledge in 2021. 

    Md. Masud-All-Kamal is Associate Professor at the Department of Sociology, University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. He is also a Researcher at the Institute for Sustainability, Energy and Resources, The University of Adelaide, Australia. His research focuses on social dimension of climate change adaptation, community engagement and just transition.
