Biography

David Shilbury is Foundation Chair of Sport Management in the Deakin Business School at Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia, and Director of the Deakin Sport Network. His research expertise is in sport governance, strategy and sport delivery systems. He is also the President of Golf Victoria and a former editor of the Journal of Sport Management and Sport Management Review.

Pamm Phillips is Professor of Sport Management in the Deakin Business School at Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia. She is also the Editor of Sport Management Review, and her research interests include sport development, women in sport and volunteer involvement in sport.

Adam Karg is Associate Professor of Marketing and Director of the Sport Innovation Research Group at Swinburne University, Melbourne, Australia. His research is focussed on consumer behaviour, sponsorship, branding, media consumption and innovation in sport. He is also the Immediate Past President of the Sport Management Association of Australia and New Zealand.

Katie Rowe is Associate Professor in Sport Management in the Deakin Business School at Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia. Her research interests include sport participation and development, women in sport and community development through sport. She has previously served as a board director for both Basketball Victoria and the Sport Management Association of Australia and New Zealand.

Hunter Fujak is Lecturer in Sport Management in the Deakin Business School at Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia. His research expertise is in sport broadcasting and sport consumer behaviour, specifically in understanding consumption patterns within Australia’s crowded sport marketplace. He is a regular media contributor to topics related to the business of Australian football.
