Biography
Mohammed Gulzar Ahmed is currently serving as a Professor and Dean at Yenepoya Pharmacy College & Research Centre, which is a part of Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), India. He obtained his Master's degree from Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MCOPS), India, and completed his Doctorate from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, India. He has a strong academic and research record with the witnessed publication of 170+ research and review articles in national and international journals, 12 book chapters, 6 books, and 7 patents in his credit. During his academic career, he has presented over 50+ research papers at national and international conferences. He is a reviewer for several highly reputable national and international journals. He has successfully guided more than 25 postgraduate students and supervises 9+ PhD students. Additionally, he has secured research grants from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), Vision Group of Science and Technology, Govt. of Karnataka, and the Anusandhan National Research Foundation, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
Vetriselvan Subramaniyan is currently serving as a Professor of Pharmacology in the Sir Jeffrey Cheah Sunway Medical School at Sunway University. He graduated from Annamalai University, India, and began his academic journey in 2008 at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India. Over his career, he has accumulated more than fifteen years of teaching and research experience at prestigious institutions such as Arba Minch University in Ethiopia, MAHSA University in Malaysia, among others. A prolific researcher, Prof. Vetriselvan has authored over 350+ papers with a cumulative impact factor exceeding 1000, filed 08 patents internationally, and contributed to 06+ book chapters. His expertise is widely recognized, as evidenced by numerous grants, including a Monash University Research Travel Grant and an FRGS grant from Malaysia's Ministry of Higher Education. He is also ranked among the Top 2% of Scientists in the World according to Stanford University and is a Fellow of the Malaysian Scientific Association. Professor Vetriselvan has held prominent academic leadership roles, including serving as Acting Dean, Deputy Dean at MAHSA University, and held visiting and adjunct professorships at institutions in China, Cambodia, and India. His supervisory work is extensive, with 28 completed student research projects and ongoing Ph.D. supervision at multiple international universities. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the British Pharmacological Society, the Indian Pharmacological Society, The Obesity Society, and the Malaysian Scientific Association. His research focuses on advancing drug development and pharmacology, and he has delivered keynote addresses at over 30 conferences worldwide.
Sagnik Nag is an active nano-biomaterials researcher at Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine and Health Sciences (JCSMHS), Monash University, Malaysia. He completed his postgraduate studies in the domain of Biotechnology in the year of 2023 with record academic scores from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Tamil Nadu, India. Priorly, he was closely associated with NanoBios Lab at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT-B) as a research trainee in the domain of Biomaterials, Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Drug Delivery. At the budding stage of his career, he managed to obtain 1500+ citations and more than 50 Scopus-indexed publications in reputed high-impact factor journals like ACS Biomaterials Science & Engineering, International Journal of Surgery, Travel Medicine and Infectious Diseases, Materials Today Chemistry, ACS Omega, and Frontiers in Immunology. Sagnik's academic pursuits have been characterized by excellence from the outset. With a voracious appetite for knowledge, he embarked on his educational journey, acquiring a strong foundation in pharmaceutical sciences. He was recently conferred and elected as an Associate at the Royal Society of Biology.
Sourav Mohanto is an active academician and researcher at Yenepoya Pharmacy College & Research Centre, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), Karnataka, India, has completed his postgraduation study in the domain of Pharmaceutics from Central University of Sikkim, India. He is closely associated with various research projects related to biomaterials development and utilization, drug delivery science, etc. As an early career researcher, he obtained numerous high-impact indexed publications, 08+ book chapters, 04+ national and international patents granted/ Published, 03 design patents granted, etc. He has guided various students at the university level and was nominated as an organizing committee member for multiple conference bodies and professional organizations across the globe. He is also been a Member of Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), American Chemical Society (ACS), Controlled Release Society-Indian Local Chapter, Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI), and many more. Sourav has also been associated with various journals as an editorial board member, reviewer, and actively participated in International and National conferences across the globe
